Delete your Engator account

This page explains how to delete your account in Engator, the AI sales assistant for WhatsApp by Engator (Android app io.engator.app and web dashboard at app.engator.io). It also explains what happens to your data afterwards.

In the Android app

  1. Open Engator and tap the gear icon (Settings) at the top right of the Home, Leads, Chats, Campaigns or Products screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Account section and tap Delete account.
  3. Enter your password in Confirm your password.
  4. Tap Permanently delete account. You'll be signed out straight away.

Without the app

  1. Email support@engator.io from the email address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my Engator account". Say whether you also want your data permanently erased (see below).
  3. We'll confirm by email once it's done.

The web dashboard doesn't yet have a self-service delete button. If you use Engator on the web, email us as above.

What happens straight away

What is kept, and for how long

Deleting your account in the app deactivates it but doesn't yet erase your data. Your profile, conversations, leads, products, campaigns, reminders and do-not-contact list stay in our database in deactivated form. They are not visible to anyone through the app or dashboard.

To have that data permanently erased, email support@engator.io from your account email. You can do this before or after deleting the account. We'll erase it and confirm by email.
